SING for GREEN: Professionals of the Future 2 Workshop

The SingforGreen project was proudly presented during the Professionals of the Future II event, organised by the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF) in Lisbon.

This European-level initiative gathered more than 90 participants from 18 EU and neighbouring countries to reflect on the challenges that professionals and professions will face in the near future.

SingforGreen “sponsored” one of the event’s roundtables — Sustainability — where participants engaged in an interactive group activity exploring real-world dilemmas and trade-offs across the product lifecycle. The session encouraged critical reflection on how professionals can drive sustainable choices in design and manufacturing.

The discussions reinforced a key message:
• The future of industry depends on integrating green skills into training and qualification systems to meet the growing demand for green jobs. SingforGreen contributes to this goal by promoting sustainability-driven competences in Additive Manufacturing and supporting Europe’s green transition.
