In the 21st century, the quest for a more sustainable way of living has become a significant challenge, impacting various aspects of our lives, from personal choices to large-scale industrial processes.
In the industrial field, the demand for eco-friendly products, ones that use fewer resources and less energy from production to recycling, requires a unique blend of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies,
like additive manufacturing, and specialized knowledge geared towards making products more sustainable.
Unfortunately, this vital knowledge, often known as 'green skills,'
is not adequately integrated into current training programs for designers specializing in additive manufacturing. This is the driving force behind the SING for GREEN project,
aiming to bridge this gap and promote a greener future through education.
